SONGMAKERS ANNUAL PICNIC
Our West L. A. Hoot transforms into our Songmakers annual picnic on the fourth Sunday in August from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Encino Park (the site of the annual Taste of Encino Free Folk Festival ). We'll meet on the eastern edge of the park. The main intersection is Ventura Blvd. and Paso Robles Ave., one block west of Balboa Ave.
What to bring: picnic lunch, seating, folding chair &/or ground cloth, instruments, songs, voices and friends.
Directions: Get onto the 101, westbound from the 405 or eastbound from the west valley. Exit at Balboa and proceed south. Turn right at Ventura Blvd. Take the first right (Paso Robles Ave.). The park will be on your left; look for the Songmakers banner.
