The Annual Roundup and Songmakers' Board Elections is Sunday, February 17th, 2008 at the
CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES
14115 Magnolia Blvd.
Sherman Oaks, CA

This is a POTLUCK DINNER, ELECTION and HOOT PERFORMANCE festivity that cannot be missed. We now have approximately 8 HOOTS per month, depending on whether it's an odd or even month or if there's a 5th Saturday, so if you can't get to all of them, this is the festivity to attend. Come and meet all those wonderful people who open their homes for us to make beautiful music, and meet and hear some folks that only go to hoots that you don't attend.

To make this wonderful afternoon go as smoooooothly as possible, here are just a few ground rules:

1. Hoots will be limited to 2 songs only (No medleys or marathon songs please!).
2. Please encourage any of the newer members of your hoot, or the organization, to participate in the event
3. THE SONGMAKERS' BOARD WILL PROVIDE DESSERT, AND BEVERAGES FOR THE EVENT.
4. BRING ENOUGH FOOD FOR 10 - 12 PEOPLE, main courses, side dishes, veggies, etc. in disposable containers if possible.
5. Each performer may represent a maximum of 2 hoots only, and may sing as a lead performer only one time, for either hoot (House musicians excepted). Any questions please ask a board member.
6. Please have your group tuned and ready to go. That leaves more time for eating all that wonderful food.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR GROUP ASSEMBLED AND IN THE WINGS WHEN YOU'RE NEXT.

In addition to the FABULOUS ENTERTAINMENT already scheduled, there will also be a table where you can buy, sell, trade, donate, give away any and all music related items, i.e. instruments, sheet music, kazoos, etc.
