The not-to-be-missed Songmakers annual picnic is on the fourth Sunday in June from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Encino Park.

We'll meet on the western edge of the park. The main intersection is Ventura Blvd. and Genesta Ave., two blocks west of Balboa Ave.

What to bring: potluck dish, seating, folding chair &/or ground cloth, instruments, songs, voices and friends.

Directions: Get onto the 101, westbound from the 405 or eastbound from the west valley. Exit at Balboa and proceed south. Turn right at Ventura Blvd. Take the second right (Genesta Ave.). The park will be on your right; look for the Songmakers banner.
